Method Wellness and Physical Therapy Patient Information

Why choose Method Physical Therapy?

How is Method Physical Therapy different?

Quality One-on-One care

There are a number of good reasons to choose Method PT, but maybe the most important is the highly individualized one-on-one care you will receive.  All of your visits will be one-on-one with treatment provided by a Doctor of Physical Therapy, guaranteed.

A Holistic Approach

Your body is constantly in motion and requires a concert of calculated movement strategies to perform day to day tasks. At Method, we believe in a holistic approach to treatment that includes creating a plan to address the needs of you as a whole person.

Faster Results

Through our patient-centered treatment model, hands-on techniques and holistic approach, the time needed to reduce pain or recover from injury is often far less than with typical physical therapy treatment.

How Soon Can I Start?

You can call our clinic and set up an appointment today!  Appointments for initial evaluation and treatment are typically available within the week.  Book appointment Now.

Do I need a prescription?

No, a prescription is not required to start Physical Therapy treatment.  You may schedule an appointment with our Physical Therapist, Dr. Sarah Eads, for an evaluation and begin treatment immediately.

However, the State Law of Texas requires a prescription/referral for “Physical Therapy” from a medical professional in order to continue treatment beyond a period of ten (10) business days. The referral can be provided to you by an MD, DO, Physician’s Assistant, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Dentist, Podiatrist, or Chiropractor.

This referral can be sent to our clinic at any point prior to or during these ten (10) business days.  To print a referral to be filled out by your provider, click here.  Your provider may also send their own referral form to our fax number: 210-817-8684. For more information or any questions regarding this process, please call:  210-526-2428.

What to expect

Initial Visit

Your first treatment will start with a detailed interview in which your Physical Therapist, Dr. Eads, may learn about you, your unique history and what has led you to seek physical therapy treatment.

This conversation along with a physical examination allows Dr. Eads to develop a personalized plan of care designed to streamline treatment strategies for your individual ailment and assist in creating lasting personalized results

What to Expect

Treatment Sessions

After the initial evaluation, Dr. Eads will incorporate effective hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercise and functional movement pattern re-education in order to promote improved mobility and reduced pain. Treatment will begin on your first visit to start you on the path of feeling better as soon as possible.

For more information on different treatments offered, check out our services.

How long is each visit?

Treatment sessions are scheduled for 60 minutes.  This allows for the most effective treatment to be provided at every visit.  As your treatment plan develops, your Physical Therapist may consider shorter or longer treatments as necessary.

Rates and Insurance

What are your rates and do you accept my insurance?

We are a direct pay clinic that is not in-network with any insurance providers.  This model allows us to provide one-on-one treatment, and focus on the quality of care.

The rate for physical therapy treatment sessions and other services vary. You may inquire about pricing by calling (210) 526-2428 or submitting an inquiry about cost and availability.

Can I still submit a claim to my insurance for reimbursement?

Yes, you can!  Upon request, receipts can be provided by Method Wellness and PT that include the necessary codes to send self-claims to your insurance provider.  Access the InsuranceBenefitsWorksheet that will guide you on how to do so.
