  • At Method, we treat pain and orthopedic dysfunction, with special interests and expertise in chronic & low back pain, shoulder & upper quarter rehabilitation, athletic performance & recovery, osteo-arthritis and more. In addition, our therapists hold specialized certifications in functional gait analysis, dry needling, and spinal manipulation.

Occasionally, as a result of our thorough and comprehensive care, your therapist may determine that referral to a specialist is needed. Should this be the case, we are more than happy to direct you to an appropriate and recommended specialist in the San Antonio area.

If you have a question regarding your specific injury or issue or if you wonder if our services are right for you, schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation with one of our therapists here.

  • Length of treatment is different for everyone as there are several factors playing a role in your recovery time including severity, history and duration of the issue, body structure, etc.

Our biggest motivation behind operating our clinic as direct pay is to give our therapists the freedom to treat patients with both quality AND quantity time. One-on-one sessions spent entirely with a skilled therapist means higher quality treatment, more lasting progress, and faster recovery times.

For a more in-depth assessment & prognosis of treatment plan, call us at (210) 526-2428 or request an appointment here.

  • As part of your session, our therapists may recommend using an additional set of specialized techniques to address your pain and your body’s needs.

Manual Therapy is a key part of our physical therapy treatment protocol. This treatment involves hands-on techniques including soft tissue & joint mobilization for decreasing pain while facilitating proper movement patterns.

Spinal Manipulation is a manual therapy technique using a high velocity & low amplitude thrust to improve mobility in the joints of the spine, reduce hypertonicity of muscles, improve blood flow and reduce pain.

Electrical Dry Needling (EDN) involves stimulation of the muscles, bones, nervous tissue, and support structures such as fascia, tendons and ligaments. By targeting these tissues, the patient can experience increased blood flow, reduced inflammation, and improved muscle activation leading to reduced pain and improved function.

  • The short answer is immediately! The state of Texas allows 10 business days from the onset of treatment (i.e. your first appointment) before requiring a prescription/ referral be submitted, so feel free to schedule an appointment for an evaluation with one of our physical therapists right away to begin treatment.

You may submit your referral any time within 10 days of your first treatment by requesting your provider fax their referral to our office at 210-817-8684.

  • Please wear comfortable, loose clothing that allows your therapist access to the specific part of the body we will be treating, as well as the areas both above and below it.

  • Method is considered direct pay, meaning that your treatment fee is due at the time of service and we are not in-network with any insurance providers and are not enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid.

The added value this model allows us is more time & attention with each of our patients and the ability to get down to the heart of your specific pain.
