Mindfulness for Everyday Living: Practical Meditation Techniques for Daily Life with Beryl Bender
Mindfulness for Everyday Living: Practical Meditation Techniques for Daily Life with Beryl Bender: Afternoon Session
In our afternoon session, we will work with a mindfulness meditation practice that can easily fit into your daily routine. This practice continues the work of training the mind in focus and attention, that you may have started in your asana and pranayama practices.
As you learn to spend more time in present moment awareness, this skill carries over into your everyday life and helps you to manage your response to stress and find greater joyfulness in everyday tasks.
Slowly, the practice expands our awareness and brings us into deeper connection with the world around us.
Ignite Strength and Stillness: The Present Power Asana Series and Pranayama Practice with Beryl Bender
Ignite Strength and Stillness: The Present Power Asana Series and Pranayama Practice with Beryl Bender: Morning Session
Start your day with the Present Power series, a dynamic asana yoga practice that combines breath and movement and can be modified to accommodate all levels of practitioners. This is a wonderfully easy, accessible, and energizing practice, designed to ground you in the present moment while also building physical strength and mental clarity.
Following the asana practice, we will have an in-depth exploration of pranayama, the 4th limb of classical yoga following asana, the 3rd limb. Pranayama is a practice of breath control used to train the mind in concentration, focus the attention, and regulate energy. This portion of the session offers an opportunity for questions and hands-on practice to ensure a clear understanding of the breathwork and how it complements the physical postures.
By the end of the morning session, you will feel refreshed, balanced, and empowered.

Throughout this 60-minute session, we will focus on exploring other branches of yoga including guided meditation and mantra as a way to concentrate the mind, while experiencing the deeply relaxed physical state that comes with the soothing vibration of crystal bowls.
No prior yoga experience needed, beginners are welcome! Wear comfortable clothing, and bring a friend for this grounding & mindful journey to the self.
